Sexologist in Los Angeles

An Existential Approach to Sexual Well Being

Exploring Meaning. Embodiment. Sexual Identity.

Sexual lives change over time, often raising questions that cannot be answered through technique or performance alone. My work as a sexologist in Los Angeles offers individuals a reflective space to explore sexuality as a meaningful part of their inner and relational life.

Rather than focusing on outcomes or behavioral goals, this approach invites thoughtful inquiry into desire, intimacy, identity, and choice. The work is grounded in an existential perspective that understands sexual concerns as expressions of how a person lives in their body and relates to themselves and others.

This is not psychotherapy. It is a non clinical, exploratory process designed to support self understanding, agency, and authenticity in sexual life. Sessions are offered online and are suited for those seeking a reflective, non directive approach to sexuality.

Who I Work With

My work is for individuals who are curious about their sexual lives and want space to reflect more deeply on desire, intimacy, and identity. Many people come feeling disconnected from themselves sexually or uncertain about how sexuality fits into the life they are living. Others are navigating transitions such as changes in relationship structure, parenthood, relocation, shifts in career, or evolving identities. This work is also well suited for those seeking a values informed understanding of sexuality and for people drawn to questions of meaning, freedom, and authenticity as they relate to sexual life.

What We Explore

Our work centers on how sexuality is lived rather than how it is managed. Together, we explore how you relate to choice and responsibility in your sexual life and how patterns of accommodation or restraint may have developed over time. Attention is given to questions of authenticity and whether your sexual expression feels aligned with who you understand yourself to be. We also make space to consider meaning, including what sexuality represents in your life and how it has been shaped by relationship history, culture, embodiment, uncertainty, and change. The focus remains on understanding rather than correction.

This work is grounded in the existential tradition, which emphasizes presence, honesty, and personal responsibility. Rather than asking what should be different, we attend to what matters and why. Sexual concerns are approached as meaningful experiences that offer insight into how you live and relate to yourself and to others.

What to Expect

Sessions are offered online through a secure video platform. Meetings follow a 50 minute format and are conducted individually. The work is conversational and reflective rather than directive. You may be invited to sit with questions or observations between sessions, not as assignments but as points of awareness. The tone of the work is thoughtful, steady and non clinical.

This Is Not Psychotherapy

Although my background includes existential psychotherapy, this work does not constitute psychotherapy and does not involve mental health diagnosis or treatment. It is a non clinical space for exploration, insight, and self understanding in relation to sexuality. If you are seeking mental health treatment or are experiencing acute psychological distress, I am happy to help you find appropriate therapeutic support.

Start Where You Are

You do not need to be in crisis to begin this work. Often the most meaningful shifts occur when there is room to pause and reflect on how sexuality fits into the life you are living. If you are interested in exploring your sexual experience with more clarity and intention, I welcome you to reach out.
